Registration for the National Medicines Symposium 2016
Registration for NMS 2016 is now open. We welcome all delegates and look forward to seeing you at the symposium.

How to register
You can register for NMS 2016 as an individual, a group or as a student.
If you have already created an account for NMS 2016, please sign in with your account email address and password.
If you are accessing the NMS 2016 portal for the first time, you will need to create a new account. You will then be allowed ongoing access to both the conference registration site and the abstract submission site. It is important that you record your sign in details for later use.
After you have registered, you will receive an immediate confirmation via email, including a tax invoice.
Organisations can use the group registration link to register multiple delegates. The group co-ordinator will need to create a new account. This account will then allow the group co-ordinator ongoing access to the conference registration site to register participants and generate a printable tax invoice for payment.
Individual participants will receive an automated email confirming their registration.
Registrations received after Monday, 9 May 2016 are not guaranteed a satchel and symposium materials.
Students from the same university are able to register a group of 10.
Registration to NMS 2016 includes the following:
- attendance at all symposium sessions on Thursday 19 and Friday 20 May 2016
- a copy of the program and abstract book
- access to the symposium proceedings
- morning teas, lunches, and afternoon teas
- welcome reception networking event
- ticket to the Gala symposium dinner and National MedicineWise awards on Thursday, 19 May 2016 (not included for Student group of ten registrations).
Registration fees are based on the date of receipt of payment (not the date of receipt of registration forms). All prices are in Australian dollars and include 10% Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST).

* Student registration is available for full-time students who are not currently employed. To be eligible you will need to provide a copy of your student ID card or a written statement from your supervisor verifying your student status.
** Student group of ten registration must be registered using the “Student Group” registration link. All 10 students must be registered in the same transaction. In order to keep the price as low as possible, this does not include a ticket to the Symposium dinner. Please enquire for student price dinner ticket if you would like to attend.
Payment of registration fees
For individual registrations, a tax invoice will be automatically emailed to the address supplied upon submission of your registration.
For group registrations, the group co-ordinator must generate and print a group tax invoice through the group registration portal.
Registration fees can be paid by:
Credit card – MasterCard or Visa. Note that payments will appear as Expert Events on your credit card statement.
Cheque - please make payable to: NPS MedicineWise. All payments must be in Australian Dollars. Post to NMS 2016, c/o Expert Events, PO Box 351, Hamilton Central QLD 4007 Australia.
We are unable to accept payment via direct debit.
Note: Registration will not be processed or confirmed until payment is received in full.
Changes to your registration
You can sign into your registration record using your account email address and password if you need to make changes to your registration. Alternatively, please send all requests in writing (not telephone) to the symposium secretariat via email@example.com or fax +61 7 3848 2133.
Cancellations and refund policy
Cancellations must be advised in writing to the symposium secretariat. Registration cancellations received by Friday 15 April 2016 will receive a refund of registration fees, less an administrative charge of $110. Refunds for cancellations received after Friday 15 April 2016 will be at the discretion of NPS and the symposium secretariat. Eligible refunds will be issued after the conclusion of the symposium. Registrations are transferable to a colleague at any time prior to the event provided the symposium secretariat is advised in writing.
The registration desk will be located in the foyer on the ground floor of the National Convention Centre, Canberra. Registration desk hours:
