Held annually, the NPS Members’ Day brings together the diverse members and stakeholders of NPS to explore contemporary quality use of medicines issues.

The theme of the 2009 Members’ Day is 'Making medicines matter'. Against a backdrop of unprecedented health reform, this year’s program will look at the alignment of quality use of medicines with other health reform priorities.

Key speakers will share their insights with members about the current landscape. This year speakers include:

  • Andrew Stuart, First Assistant Secretary, Pharmaceutical Benefits Division, Department of Health and Ageing
  • Professor Andrew McLachlan, Chair, National Medicines Policy Committee
  • Dr Mukesh Haikerwal, Clinical Director and Head of Clinical Unit, Clinical Lead, NEHTA
  • Andrew Howard, Head of Architecture and Strategy, NEHTA

The afternoon will comprise interactive workshops enabling members to provide input to NPS and identify opportunities to further promote quality use of medicines in Australia. We hope to welcome representatives from every member organisation in 2009.

Members and stakeholders can register their attendance online via this form.
