Quit smoking in type 1 diabetes

People with diabetes who smoke should make every effort to quit. The combination of smoking and diabetes greatly increases your risk of heart disease and other complications of diabetes. Quitting smoking will improve your health and significantly reduce the risk of other illnesses.
