NPS organises programs within the community to:
- provide skills and knowledge for decision making about medicines
- raise and improve awareness about the role and limitations of medicines
- promote greater understanding and awareness of choices between medicines use and other approaches
- build on established communication channels
- increase consumer awareness about the key role they play in talking to health professionals about their medicines.
