  1. True, unless you use the other sort of medication organiser (blister packs), which the pharmacist fills for you.
  2. False. It’s best to keep them in as cool an area as possible and away from sunlight. Medicines that need to be kept in the fridge (not freezer) will say so on the label.
  3. True for some medicines, but for most you need to ask your pharmacist for the Consumer Medicine Information leaflet, or get one off the NPS website.
  4. Not entirely true. They certainly make it harder for children to open the bottle, but it’s still important to keep medicines out of their reach.
