Community education sessions on medicinesCommunity education sessions on medicines

NPS partners with various different organisations to present in-language community education sessions in the following languages:

  • Arabic
  • Greek
  • Italian
  • Korean
  • Macedonian
  • Simplified Chinese
  • Spanish
  • Traditional Chinese
  • Vietnamese
The community education sessions will cover the topics of Managing pain and the Safe and wise use of medicines. In these seminars you will learn how to get to know all your medicines — prescription medicines, medicines bought in a pharmacy or supermarket without a prescription, and natural medicines including vitamins and herbs. You will also learn why it’s important to understand when and how to use your medicines, how long to take them and what they are for, and what you should discuss with your doctor and pharmacist before starting a new medicine.

Please see below for the dates and venues for the 2011 community education sessions. Call an organisation close to you to attend a session.
