GPs, pharmacists, nurses and other health professionals can participate in our free educational and quality improvement activities including case studies, clinical audits and pharmacy practice reviews on various therapeutic topics. All our educational and quality improvement activities qualify for continuing professional development (CPD) points or qualify as an activity for the Quality Prescribing Initiative (QPI) of the Practice Incentives Program (PIP).

Pharmacy practice review

Provides pharmacists with the opportunity to review their episode of care with patients who are at risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD) and improve the adherence of patients to their lipid-modifying medicines.

This software is designed for use on Microsoft Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7.

CVD risk and lipid-modifying therapy Gives GPs an opportunity to assess absolute CVD risk, discuss risk with patients, consider prescribing lipid-modifying drugs for those at increased risk, and assess adherence.

Management of hypertension
Gives GPs an opportunity to assess absolute cardiovascular risk, modify risk factors, identify and aim for guideline-recommended blood pressure targets and tailor therapy according to coexisting conditions.
