Medicines information in rural and remote communities
With challenges like isolation and lack of access to medical services facing the 34% of Australians living in rural and regional areas, NPS MedicineWise helps people living in rural and remote areas find accurate and reliable information on medicines. We work in partnership with the Consumers Health Forum of Australia, Health Consumers of Rural and Remote Australia and the National Rural Health Alliance to achieve this.

Working with seniors — rural and remote
Our work with seniors also reaches those living in regional and remote areas.
Seniors from Alice Springs, Katherine, Tennant Creek, Taree, Albury, Maleney and Conondale have participated in sessions to get to know their medicines. Our aim is to train more seniors who live in regional and remote Australia to be volunteer peer educators in their own area.
