Registration for NMS 2012 is now open. We welcome you to this exciting event and look forward to seeing you in Sydney in May 2012.

How to register

You can register online as an individual or group.

Register online

When you register online, you will receive confirmation of your registration straight away via email. You will also be given an Access Key which will allow you to retrieve or edit your registration details online.

You can pay your registration fees online using MasterCard or Visa, or select the option to pay via cheque. Unfortunately we are unable to accept payment via direct debit. We will email a tax invoice to the address you supply once you have submitted your details and we've received confirmation of your method of payment. 

Group registration

You can use our group registration form if you need to register multiple delegates. 

Register by post or fax

You can register by post or fax by completing and sending the registration pdf. We will acknowledge receipt of mailed or faxed registration forms within 10 days of your form. If you don’t receive confirmation of your registration from us within this time, please email NMS secretariat or telephone 07 3848 2100. You will need to include payment to ensure your registration can be confirmed.

If you haven’t registered prior to Wednesday 16 May 2012 you can register onsite at NMS 2012. Note that onsite registrants are not guaranteed a satchel, dinner ticket and symposium materials.

Registration desk

The registration desk will be located in the Bayside Foyer on Level 1 of the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre. Registration desk hours:

  • Thursday, 24 May 2012   0730–1700
  • Friday, 25 May 2012       0830–1600

Entitlements

Registration to NMS 2012 includes:

  • attendance at all symposium sessions
  • a copy of the program and abstract book 
  • access to the symposium proceedings
  • morning and afternoon teas
  • lunches.

Tickets to the NMS dinner and MedicineWise Awards (to be held Thursday, 24 May 2012) can be purchased when you register online. All registered delegates and guests are welcome to attend but tickets must be purchased prior to the event.

Registration fees

Registration fees are based on the date of receipt of payment (not the date of receipt of registration forms). All prices are in Australian dollars and include 10% Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST).

* Student registration is available for full-time students who are not currently employed. To be eligible you will need to provide a copy of your student ID card or a written statement from your supervisor verifying your student status.
** Tickets to the NMS dinner and National MedicineWise awards (Thursday, 24 May 2012) are not included in the registration fee and will be charged as a separate item.

Payment of registration fees

Payment may be made by:

  • Credit card – MasterCard or Visa. Note that payments will appear as Expert Events on your credit card statement.
  • Cheque - please make payable to: NPS - Better choices, Better health. All payments must be in Australian dollars.

Note: Registration will not be processed or confirmed until payment is received in full.

Changes to your registration

If you need to make changes to your registration, please send them in writing (not telephone) to the NMS secretariat via email, fax +61 7 3848 2133 or post to Expert Events, PO Box 330, Northgate QLD 4013 Australia.

Cancellations and refund policy

Cancellations must be advised in writing to the NMS secretariat. Registration cancellations received by Friday, 30 March 2012 will receive a refund of registration fees, less an administrative charge of $110. Refunds for cancellations received after Friday 30 March 2012 will be at the discretion of NPS and the NMS secretariat. Eligible refunds will be issued after the conclusion of the symposium. Registrations are transferable to a colleague at any time prior to the event provided the NMS secretariat is advised in writing.
