About

Fatigue is a common presentation in general practice. GPs report managing people presenting with fatigue is challenging, and in a survey of GP registrars, fatigue was the symptom most commonly associated with difficulties in ordering and interpreting tests.

This interactive course explores the diagnostic approach to fatigue in young to middle-aged adults, as outlined in Therapeutic Guidelines: Diagnostic Approach to Fatigue in Primary Care, 2011.

Case scenarios will help you consider the influence of age, gender, disease prevalence and clinical history on pre-test probability, and you'll learn when testing is more appropriate and which tests should be considered.

This course aims to improve your knowledge, skills and confidence in assessing patients with fatigue.
