How to register

You can register online as an individual or in a group of two or more delegates from the same organisation. Students can register as individuals or in groups of five from the same university.

Individual registration

If you have submitted an abstract, you have already created an account – please sign in with your existing account email address and password.

By registering online, you will receive an immediate confirmation via email, including a tax invoice.

Group registration

Organisations can use the group registration link to register multiple delegates. The group coordinator will need to create a new user account. It is important that you record your sign in details for later use.

This account will give the group coordinator access to the conference registration site to register participants and generate and print one tax invoice for payment. Individual participants will receive automated emails confirming their registration.

Student registration

Student registration is available for full-time students who are not currently employed full-time, either as individuals, or in groups of five from the same university.

Student group of five registration must be registered using the “Student Group” registration link. All five students must be registered in the same transaction.

In order to keep the price as low as possible, student registration fees (individual or group of five) do not include a ticket to the Gala symposium dinner and National MedicineWise Awards. Tickets may be purchased for $140 during the registration process.

Please indicate your estimated time of hotel arrival on your registration form. If you wish to guarantee your room is ready before the hotel check-in time, it’s recommended that you book the room for the evening prior to your arrival. If arriving after 1800, failure to advise your arrival time may mean that your room will be released.

Extending your stay

Payment for accommodation

Please note that payment of accommodation is not taken at the time of completing an online conference registration, however a credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee your room with the hotel. A wider range of credit cards are available for accommodation payment (including Diners and American Express). Accommodation providers have varying deposit and guarantee requirements (please refer to each hotel’s payment and cancellation policies below). Each hotel will charge a one-night deposit at 30 days prior to arrival. Should a credit card decline or expire at this time, a valid replacement card will need to be provided to continue holding the booking.

If you wish the hotel to settle your account with a credit card of which you are not the signatory, you must provide written authority to the hotel to do so.
