Don trusts his GP’s professional knowledge and feels he has been fortunate to have consistent and high-quality medical care with a GP who knows him well.

I must admit, I'm of a predisposition where, if I'm advised by my medico to take it, I just take it. I'm not one of those who runs around, chases, as of, say, on Wikipedia or anything else or Google it and say, ‘Oh, I'm worried about this. Oh, it affects or whatever ... ’ I've been on them for too long and I'm not readily swayed by any of that anyway. So, if my GP, who I have good faith in ... he's been treating me down here for, since we've been living in Mt Eliza for about 12 years. He knows my history, so even with my chat with him yesterday, saying can you give me something else and he said, ‘Oh, I'd prefer not.’ That's fine. I've accepted that. I'll wait til I see the neurologist in February and then we can review where we're at. But no ... I just, I suppose ... not blinded. I've just willingly accepted the GP's prescription and that's it. That's his game, not mine. So, I've accepted that.
