Nancy: Benefits and disadvantages – Being able to do things

Listen to patients and health professionals speak about their experience with taking multiple medicines.

Nancy
Female
Age at interview: 82
Number of medicines: 16
Cultural background: Australian/Italian/English

Nancy is still able to live an active life in her 80s because of her medicines.

I know they make me feel better, and I'm 82 … nearly 82 and a half. I can still play tennis, I can still garden all day, I can dig out plants and plant plants if I … if there's nobody there to help me, I can do it myself. I vacuum, but I hate vacuuming because it hurts my back, so I try to get out of that one. But I lead a normal life, and for an old lady, I think I’m doing all right.
